Engineering Apprenticeship Programme

Our Apprenticeship programme is governed by an Apprenticeship Contract approved by the relevant SETA.  It is a structured four year training programme, with the main focus on practical skills and theory gained at an institutional training centre and a technical college to prepare candidates for trade testing for an artisan qualification.

Twinsaver currently offers the following apprenticeships:

  • Electrical Apprentice
  • Fitter Apprentice
  • Fitter and Turner Apprentice
  • Instrument Mechanician Apprentice

Minimum requirements

  • Applicants must have passed Grade 12: English, Physical Science  and  pure Maths
  • Matric N4 with four subjects with relevant trade theory subjects (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Electrical/Mechanical Trade Theory)

Applicants must have a Mechanical/Electrical aptitude and a willingness to learn Applicants must be motivated, keen to learn and willing to put in the effort to succeed.
